Walmart

Walmart’s more than 2 million associates are residents, neighbors, friends and family in thousands of communities around the globe. Walmart works to strengthen these communities through both our retail business and community giving.

We support and invest in communities through local giving, encouraging volunteerism, and through programs to strengthen community cohesion.

TARGET

Target’s philanthropic efforts are rooted in the company’s purpose of helping all families discover the joy of everyday life and our values of optimism, inclusivity and connection. Community has been, and will continue to be, our focus.

Philanthropy is one way that Target can address some of the toughest social and environmental challenges in our communities. It allows us to draw on our company’s strengths including our team members, store footprint, global reach, products and partners to deliver an even greater impact. We support our communities through the Target Foundation and corporate giving.

CVS

As a pharmacy innovation company, we’ve focused our charitable giving in ways that will help people on their path to better health by improving health outcomes and building healthier communities. We call this “Health in Action.” We bring the Health in Action giving philosophy to life through our Community Grants. These grants provide funds to aid health-focused nonprofit organizations in their mission.

COSTCO

Costco Wholesale's Warehouse donation program is intended to meet the needs of organizations which are focused on children, education, or health and human services and serve a local neighborhood and organizations with a similar scope of service.

GIANT

Giant Food makes charitable contributions to nonprofit organizations involved with hunger, children, education, and health. Support is given primarily in areas of company operations.

FOOD LION

The Food Lion Feeds Charitable Foundation supports a variety of hunger-related initiatives, including "Feeding the Hungry" grants each year. The foundation has given away more than $10 million across Food Lion’s operating area since its inception. Specifically, grants support children at risk of hunger and support feeding agencies by helping to increase their "fresh" capacity so families can put nutritious meals on their tables. The foundation also helps provide nutrition education to eliminate the health risks of the hungry.
